Went to a Habitat ReStore and left frustrated

Did you check if they had employee pricing or a discount for volunteers? I went to one near me and found out they mark stuff up because they assume anyone shopping there is a contractor flipping houses, not just a regular person. The volunteers get first dibs on the good stuff before it hits the floor too. So what you're seeing is the leftovers nobody wanted. One guy told me they'll sometimes hold items in the back for a week before pricing them, which makes no sense when you're trying to sell donated goods.

I finally get why some comic book fans hate movie adaptations now

The Percy Jackson movies did that for me, I grew up loving those books and seeing them turned into generic teen action flicks just hurt.

Wasted $70 on those silicone air fryer liners before I figured it out

At least with an air fryer you know it's trying to cook. This thing just blows lukewarm air around like a broken hairdryer. I tried to do frozen fries and they came out soggy on one side and still raw on the other. @derek_dixon78 you nailed it, total waste. Has anyone actually tested the temp on theirs with a thermometer?

I finally had a treated 4x4 post snap clean off at the base on a job in Tempe last Thursday, and it was only 18 months old.

Did the post at least leave a note explaining why it was quitting on you? Sounds like it took "treated lumber" a little too literally and decided to treat itself to an early retirement.

That thermal paste trick someone told me actually worked

Wait "the guy on here told me to use a plastic spudger instead of alcohol" like you didn't even wipe the old paste off with anything at all? That sounds sketchy but I'm kinda curious now cause I've always used alcohol and a coffee filter and never had issues. Did you use the spudger dry or did you still prep the surface somehow before applying new paste? Because I feel like just scraping it off with plastic would leave residue or scratches even if it doesn't seep liquid anywhere.
