Just counted 100 pieces of sea glass in my collection from walks this year

I keep a jar on my workbench for bits I find along the shore in Newport, and hitting that number made me see how much material I've gathered without really trying. It's enough to start a proper mosaic instead of just small projects. Has anyone else been surprised by how much of one thing they've collected over time?

Waste your time picking up trash. It's just broken glass smoothed by the ocean, not some special treasure. A hundred pieces means you spent a lot of hours staring at the ground for litter. That's not a collection, it's a sign you need a better hobby. You could have done something useful with all that time.
