inPro tip: I keep seeing people use the wrong screwdriver size on the tiny screws holding a camera's top plate, which can strip them in seconds.
Used to think JIS was just forum hype too. Then I rebuilt an old Honda carb and wrecked three screw heads with a brand new Phillips. Bought a cheap JIS driver on a whim and every single one came out like butter. The difference in bite is real on older Japanese stuff.

inJust saw the difference in a Garmin G1000 after a full software update
Clearing the nav database on my old unit was a huge pain. The manual said to just reformat, but it kept throwing error codes until I did the full two-button reset. It's wild how much junk data gets stuck in there over the years.

inJust counted 100 pieces of sea glass in my collection from walks this year
Waste your time picking up trash. It's just broken glass smoothed by the ocean, not some special treasure. A hundred pieces means you spent a lot of hours staring at the ground for litter. That's not a collection, it's a sign you need a better hobby. You could have done something useful with all that time.
