Tried the new ghost kitchen burger place versus the old stand on Melrose
The ghost kitchen's 'Smash Deluxe' was a total letdown, dry and cold, while the Melrose stand's classic double is still perfect. I think the difference is the real grill and someone actually looking at the food before it goes in the bag. Has anyone else had a bad ghost kitchen meal this month?

Ghost kitchens skip the whole vibe check. No line to wait in, no smell of onions on the grill, no guy asking if you want extra pickles. That stuff matters. You're just ordering from a picture on an app made in a random kitchen. It's like the soul of the place got deleted. My worst was a "NY style" pizza that came in a plain cardboard box, totally generic. Tasted like nothing.

yeah @ninasanchez totally right, even the box matters. makes you wonder if the food safety is as generic too

Come on, it's just food delivery. You wanted pizza, you got pizza. The "soul" of a place doesn't really matter when you're hungry at home.
