Rant: I watched three different food trucks in LA this week not properly labeling their allergen ingredients.

If you're serving something with nuts or dairy and you don't have a clear sign, you're risking someone's health and your whole business, because my cousin had a reaction at a spot last month that just wrote 'special sauce' on the menu.

Honestly this feels like part of a bigger problem where details just get ignored. It's not just food trucks, I mean you see it with store bought stuff sometimes too where the warning is in tiny print. Makes you wonder if people just forget how serious allergies can be, like it's a real health issue not a preference. Maybe it's just me but that casual attitude can really put someone in danger over something so easy to fix.

Carrying an epipen in my bag everywhere pretty much became second nature after a bad reaction at a deli counter. @patricia905 knows, it's scary how fast things can turn. A quick "hey, I have allergies, can you check" has saved me more than once.

Yeah, "special sauce" is a great way to describe an ER trip.
