I finally finished a piece after 6 months of nothing

Eight months is brutal. My personal best is a solid 6 days and I'm pretty sure that was just because I was sick. @nina180, your buddy must have the patience of a saint or zero social media access.

Chat with a cargo pilot made me rethink my torque specs

Whoa, easy there @simonbell. In my experience, torque specs are there for a reason, especially on critical stuff like head bolts or suspension parts. Getting it wrong on something like that can cost you a whole lot more than a quick trip to the hardware store.

Dropped $200 on a fancy drawing tablet that my old laptop couldn't even run properly

My buddy tried running a Cintiq on an i3 laptop and the cursor showed up half a minute later.

Just realized a cheap wallpaper seam roller works great for pressing down book cloth corners

Did your friend also have that moment where they looked at their random tool collection and wondered why they ever bought a "proper" bone folder? My buddy Dan found the same thing with a putty knife he had lying around, works better than half the stuff in his kit.

That time a random viewer DM'd me about a spoiler in my review

Wow, that Kenji guy sounds intense. I've had something similar happen but from a weirder angle. I mentioned in a review that a certain plot twist was set up by the show's own visual language in the opening credits, and some dude messaged me accusing me of "reading too deep" like I was attacking his simple enjoyment. What nobody seems to talk about is how these viewers are treating the show like it's a sacred trust they've been personally guarding. They're not mad about the review itself, they're mad that you saw something they missed and it made them feel dumb. It's like they think spoilers only count if the information directly comes from the studio and not from your own brain connecting the dots. The real spoiler is that you were paying attention and they weren't.
