Warning: My recent lily order from a discount site turned into a disaster

I tried a new online seller advertising super cheap stems for a wedding job. The box arrived with most flowers already drooping and spotted. Had to call in every favor to source fresh ones overnight. Lost money and almost ruined a client's big day. Seriously, check reviews twice before you trust a new supplier.

Yeah that's rough, sorry you had to deal with that. Jenkins.miles is right about checking the dates on reviews, it's a solid tip. Almost got burned myself on some garden tools that way.

Those discount sites sometimes pay for fake reviews to look legit. Maybe check if all the good reviews sound weirdly similar or were posted on the same day. Happened to a friend with a different kind of order.

You know, @jenkins.miles, your thing about fake reviews is so true. I got a phone case once because every review said it was amazing in the same words. Who says a phone case is amazing like that? It broke fast, and all the good reviews were put up at the same time. Now I always look at dates, but you still can't always know.
