I was cutting laminate planks with the wrong saw blade for years
I was working on a big job in Austin last month and kept getting chipped edges on my cuts. Another installer on site asked if I was using a fine tooth blade, which I wasn't. I switched to an 80-tooth blade and the cuts were clean as can be. Anyone have a favorite blade brand for this kind of work?

My buddy in Dallas had that same exact problem.

Had a laminate job go south with a cheap blade too. Switched to a Freud blade made for laminates and it was a night and day difference. The glue just didn't gum it up the same way.

Swear by Diablo blades for laminate. They just last longer in my experience. The thin kerf ones seem to cut cleaner with less effort. I burned through a few cheaper brands that dulled way too fast. That red finish is a bit flashy, but the cut quality is worth it.
