I always assumed old toothbrushes were just trash after use. Your fix for the amp completely shifted that idea for me. I've tossed out gear with similar noise issues without trying a clean first. Now I'll definitely save my next worn-out brush for repairs. It's smart to try the easy stuff before replacing anything.

Last year I fixed a scratchy guitar pedal with just some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. It's crazy how much gear gets tossed when a five minute clean would save it. Why do we always assume broken means buy new?
