Update: Bought a cordless drywall screw gun for $350 and it changed my whole workflow
I was on the fence about the cost, but after a big Reno job with no easy power access, it was a lifesaver. Not having to drag a cord or a generator around saved me at least an hour a day. The battery lasted through hanging about 40 sheets before needing a charge. Anyone else made the switch to cordless for their main tools?

Is it really that big of a deal? I've used a corded gun for years and just run a good extension cord. It feels like a solution for a problem that doesn't come up that often for me. I get it on a huge job with no power, but for most patch work or even a room or two, the cordless seems like extra cost for little gain. My old corded one just keeps going and I never worry about a battery dying halfway through.

My Milwaukee cordless changed my life after tripping over cords for a decade.
