Pro tip: Found out my vape stem had 200% more resin buildup than I thought after checking it with a flashlight

I was watching a YouTube cleaning tutorial last night and the guy said to hold a bright LED light behind your glass stem to see the actual layer thickness, so I tried it and realized I'd been vaping through a tube that was basically half clogged for like three months, has anyone else been shocked by how dirty their setup actually looks under a flashlight?

kinda makes you wonder how much extra heat that trapped resin is holding onto the coil though, right? that crusty layer isn't just blocking airflow, it's probably acting like a little oven lining and messing with your vapor temps. never thought about the thermal side of a dirty stem before now.

Did my buddy Matt try this? He pulled out his rig and held a phone light behind it. Looked like a gross little terrarium in there, all dark and nasty.
