Buddy at the shop changed my mind about convection vs conduction

He said 'you're just toasting the herb, not vaping it' about my old conduction unit. Made me try his Mighty at 365F and the flavor difference was night and day. Anyone else switch teams on heating style?

I switched from a cheap conduction pen to the Solo 2 last year and it was a total lightbulb moment for me. That first clean taste at 370F was honestly kind of shocking after months of that burnt popcorn flavor. It's one of those things you don't really get until you try it side by side.

Man that's so true... I had almost the exact same experience when I finally got my first decent convection unit. The difference in flavor is just night and day. I remember thinking I was actually tasting the herb for the first time, all those subtle notes that just get destroyed by conduction heat. It really does change how you enjoy the whole experience.
