Question about a stubborn dimension override in a recent AutoCAD project

Spent almost four hours yesterday trying to fix a single dimension that kept overriding my style settings on a floor plan. Anyone know a quick way to force a dimension to fully adopt the current style without exploding it?

Four hours on one dimension seems like a lot. Sometimes you just need to delete it and draw a new one, that's what I do. It's not worth the headache unless it's linked to some special data. Probably just a weird glitch in that file.
