Just hit 10,000 hours on my old drafting table and found a weird surprise
I was cleaning my gear and decided to log the total time on my trusty Mayline table from my grandpa's shop. The counter hit exactly 10,000 hours, which felt crazy. Under the light, I saw he'd carved 'don't smudge the vellum' into the wood frame, a note I'd never spotted before. Has anyone else found a hidden message or mark on their gear after years of use?

Big deal, it's just some old writing.

My grandpa's war letters looked like junk in a shoebox. Reading them changed how I saw my whole family. Old writing holds a quiet power you have to find for yourself.
