I finally figured out how to stop my pencil lines from smudging on vellum
I was working on a set of floor plans for a house renovation last month and kept ruining my drawings whenever I rested my hand on the paper. Tried those plastic bridge tools but they always slid around. Then I grabbed a can of cheap hairspray from the dollar store and gave the drawing a light mist after each layer. It dries in 30 seconds and keeps the graphite locked in place. Anyone else got a weird hack for keeping drafts clean?

Dude that's genius I used cooking spray once and it looked like a grease bomb went off.

You're not alone on that one. Cooking spray in a nonstick pan is basically asking for a mess. I learned that one the hard way too.
