Hit 40 outlet covers replaced in one weekend, my fingers still hate me
My 1978 fixer upper in Columbus had these ugly almond colored covers everywhere, so I decided to swap them all for white ones. 40 covers and 12 plates later, my fingertips are raw from those tiny screws. The real kicker was finding 3 of them were wired wrong, which explained why my living room lamps always flickered. Anybody else ever start a small project and uncover a bigger mess? How many did you end up doing?

Oh man, 40 covers is brutal. I did like 15 once and thought I was dying, so I can't even imagine double that plus plates. The wired wrong thing is the real kicker though, my place had a similar surprise where I found out one whole room was on the same breaker as the fridge. Nothing like thinking you're doing a simple paint and swap project only to realize you're basically redoing the electrical. I bet your fingers feel like sandpaper right now, tiny screws are pure evil. Congrats on getting it done though, even if the house clearly had other plans for your weekend.
