Remember when we used payphones to check email?
Was in a cafe in Chiang Mai last week and my laptop totally froze mid-Zoom call with a client. Had to run to a 7-Eleven and use their wifi on my phone to finish the meeting from a stool outside. It worked but made me think about how far we've come from hunting for internet cafes back in 08. Anyone else got a story about a tech fail in a random spot?
