Rant: A hostel roommate in Medellin told me my 6am calls were rude, and he was right
I booked a 4 person dorm to save $300 a month and took client calls at 6am from my bunk like that was normal. Now I pay $150 more for a private room and just take them from the coworking spot down the street. Anyone else had to eat a rent hike just to not be that person?

Six am calls in a shared dorm are rough on everyone, so moving to the coworking spot was the right call. Next time just book the private room and eat the cost, since a quiet place to work is worth way more than the savings. The $150 stings but you'll sleep better and so will everyone around you.
