Just checked my FICO score and it jumped 40 points in 3 months after I finally got that old medical bill off my report.

Congrats on the jump, that's huge. Kelly.felix is right about it feeling good to see it move. What gets me is how a single old bill can just sit there dragging everything down for years... it's like a ghost haunting your report. Makes you wonder how many people are stuck in the same spot without even knowing. Really glad you got it sorted out.
