TIL skipping the strand test on a perm was a huge mistake
Client wanted tighter curls. I went with a stronger solution without testing. Her hair ended up frizzy and broken. Now I have to fix the damage. What's your go-to repair routine for over-processed hair?

Yeah that's the real question @mary239. Like was she bleaching it every month or flat ironing it daily before even walking into the salon. Some people treat their hair like it's indestructible then act shocked when a chemical process fries it. You see that all the time, someone with brittle, broken ends from too much heat trying to get a perm on top of it. The stylist should have checked, but the client might not have been totally honest about the history either.
