Saw something interesting at a salon in Portland last weekend

I was visiting a friend and stopped by a high-end salon on NW 23rd Avenue, where I noticed every single stylist was using a cordless, brushless motor clipper I hadn't seen before. The owner said they switched six months ago to reduce fatigue and the noise level was noticeably lower. Has anyone else made a switch to cordless tools in their shop and noticed a real difference in the daily grind?

Cordless just means another battery to die mid-fade, honestly.

Watched my buddy's clippers quit halfway through his nephew's lineup last week. Had to finish the fade with some old corded Wahl clippers from the 90s. Kid ended up with a lopsided temp fade that looked pretty rough. You ever have a tool fail at the worst time?

Always keep a backup corded set charged.
