Rant: my chairside chat with a client made me question my whole pricing model
Had a day last Tuesday where I did 3 keratin treatments back to back and still had a cancel at 4pm, but one regular told me she could get the same blowout at a studio downtown for half what I charge. Now I'm wondering if I'm overvaluing my time or just undercharging for the bond repair, which side do y'all land on when clients pull that comparison game?

Bought a Groupon once for a "luxury" blowout at that same kind of downtown spot, ended up with a stylist who talked about her breakup for 45 minutes and left my roots wet. Charged me extra for "product" at the register too. Ever since then I just tell clients that comparison shopping is like comparing a food truck taco to a sit-down restaurant, both fill you up but one comes with a napkin and a plate. You know your bond repair work, so maybe the real question is whether you're marketing it loud enough.
