My detailing spray nozzle failed mid-foam, now I keep a backup in my kit bag
Last Saturday I had a full head of foils in, about 24 sections, and my spray bottle nozzle just gave out. It had been clogging for a week and I kept ignoring it. I had to rinse the color off mid-process because I couldn't keep the hair damp enough to work with. Had to re-wet everything and reapply two foils that slipped. That cost me an extra 20 minutes and a lot of cussing. I ordered a 6 pack of those fine mist nozzles off Amazon for 9 bucks and now one lives in every client bag I own. Anyone else keep spare parts for basic tools after a mid-service fail? What else do you double up on?

Oh great, so I am not the only one who plays chicken with a clogging nozzle and loses every time. Mine went out halfway through a root touch up and I stood there like an idiot squeezing a sputtering bottle while the clock laughed at me. The real kicker is those things are like 2 bucks each and we all act like swapping one out is some huge chore. Good call on the 6 pack, those fine mist ones actually spray even instead of spitting like a busted ketchup bottle. I keep spares of my tint brush, gloves, and foil rolls now too, because one slip up can turn a 90 minute appointment into a whole afternoon.
