My bokashi bin disaster last Thursday changed my whole setup

My buddy's apartment smelled like a science project for months after his bokashi bucket failed.

I finally realized I was over-dimensioning every single weldment by a full 1/8 inch for years because my old boss told me 'more metal is safer metal'.

That's a rough way to find out your old boss was basically burning money. The_keith is right, that "safer" mindset just adds dead weight, literally in your case. Bet that Denver engineer saved the client more than your quote cost.

Vent: Walked into a med spa in Tampa and their consultation room was a total red flag

Tbh that flickering fluorescent light alone would have made me walk out. Honestly, if they can't even get the basics like proper lighting right in a consultation room, it makes you wonder what else they're cutting corners on. That kind of environment shows they don't really care about the client experience or getting good results. It's not just about being relaxing, it's about having the right setup to actually do the job well. I'd totally lose trust in a place that felt that cheap and rushed.

Shoutout to the person who told me to pick 'The Bear' over 'Emily in Paris' for my weekend binge

Oh man, the true crime cliffhanger is the absolute worst trick in the book. They always drop some wild twist right before the credits, and you're just stuck there. Your brain needs to know if the suspicious nephew did it, so you click next. Suddenly the sun is coming up and you feel like you solved the case but lost your mind.
