Spent $400 on a 'truth' documentary series that was just recycled nonsense

I bought this whole set of DVDs about ancient aliens and lost civilizations last year, thinking it was new research. Turns out it was the same old stuff from the 90s, just repackaged with a fancy title. They even used clips from shows I'd already seen on TV for free. I checked the dates on the interviews, and some were over twenty years old. It felt like a total scam to get money from people who are just curious. Has anyone else been tricked by these kinds of 'special edition' sets that promise new info but don't deliver?
