I was at the Denver airport last month and the murals there are way too specific to be just art (you know, the creepy ones with the dead kids and soldiers).

Oh man, you are so right. I had a long layover there once and those murals really freaked me out. The one with the suitcase full of dolls and broken toys stuck with me for days. It feels like they're trying to tell a story that's way darker than just decorating an airport. What do you think they're actually about?

That suitcase mural always made me think of lost childhood. The artist might be showing how travel can break up families or memories. I wonder if there's a local history of displacement they're hinting at.
