Debate: should you tram your CNC manually or trust the auto probe?
I was reading a thread the other day where a guy swore auto tramming with a probe is the only way to go. But my old mentor always said to do it by hand with a dial indicator because the probe can be off by .001 or more. Which method do you guys think gives better results for tight tolerance work like mold making?
