Noticing fewer plastic bags stuck in trees these days
Local bans really did make a difference in my town.

My cousin works at a recycling center and said they actually had to lay people off after our bag ban. The volume of plastic film dropped so much they cut a whole shift. It's a good problem to have, but shows how much junk was really blowing around before.

Remember how weird and sad those plastic ghosts looked flapping in the branches? Our local ban cleared that right up! I see way less litter in the gutters and ditches too. It's proof that a simple rule change can fix a huge eyesore. The difference in just a couple years is honestly amazing. It makes the whole neighborhood feel cleaner and more cared for.

Yeah, it's crazy how small rules can make a big difference. Like, my street had this issue with people leaving old couches on the curb for weeks. The city started fining for that, and now it's so much better. I used to see stained mattresses and broken chairs just rotting in the rain. Now the block looks tidy almost all the time. It's not perfect, but you can tell people care more.
