Realized I was tossing the can water my beans sit in, and a $0 fix changed my dinners
Last Tuesday I dumped the liquid from a can of chickpeas down the sink like always, then watched my roommate pour hers into a jar and whisk it in a pan for 4 minutes until it went fluffy. She said that stuff is aquafaba, and her $1.10 can of beans made a mayo swap that held together a whole tuna salad for 3 lunches. Am I really the only one who has been pouring the best part down the drain this entire time?
