Honestly, I think a simple ballpoint pen beats any fancy fountain pen for bullet journaling
Tbh, I used a $40 fountain pen for my bujo for a whole year because everyone said it was the best. Ngl, it was a pain. It bled through my Leuchtturm pages and I was always worried about smudging. Last month I switched back to a basic Bic Cristal and it's just better. No ghosting, dries instantly, and I can throw it in my bag without a care. The writing experience is smoother for quick logging. Am I the only one who thinks the fancy tools are overrated for this system?

But that smooth fountain pen ink flow makes my handwriting look way better, which matters when I'm reviewing old entries. A good pen turns my messy notes into something I actually want to read back. Isn't the point to make a journal you enjoy using?
