My $15 rice cooker changed my meal prep game completely

I picked up a basic 3-cup rice cooker from a thrift store about two months ago for 15 bucks. Before that I was doing rice in a pot on the stove and it came out mushy or burnt half the time. Now I just dump in rice and water, press a button, and walk away while it does its thing. The difference is night and day - fluffy rice every single time with zero effort. I've been using it for batch cooking on Sundays to stretch my groceries further. A $4 bag of rice plus some frozen veggies and eggs makes like 6 meals for under a buck each. Has anyone else found a cheap kitchen tool that totally changed how you eat on a budget?

And honestly once you figure out the water to rice ratio you can just set it and forget it, perfect rice every single time without even thinking about it.
