I finally got my book club to finish a whole novel in one week
We spent six months arguing about whether to read 'The Left Hand of Darkness' and then another three weeks debating the first chapter. Last Tuesday at Sarah's place in Portland, we actually read the whole thing in one sitting over pizza and cheap wine. It was the first time everyone agreed on a book since we started the club in 2021. Has anyone else's group ever managed to power through a full book in a single week?
