Appreciation post: My game group tried a full day of only 18xx games

I figured we'd get bored after two, but we played four different titles back to back. The debate is whether that's a fun marathon or just punishing ourselves. Has your group ever done something similar?

Tried a full day of 18xx once and my brain was fried by dinner. We made it through 1830 and 1889 but hit a wall. It's fun until the math turns into a chore.

Yeah, the "math turns into a chore" part is so real. It's like when a fun project around the house stops being creative and just becomes a list of numbers and measurements. You start strong, but the fun drains out when the mental work piles up.
