My wife and I watched the first season of 'The Bear' over a weekend and it completely changed how we talk about our jobs.

We both work in kitchens, and before the show we'd just complain about the stress. After binging it, we started actually talking about the creative side and the pressure in a different way, like we saw ourselves in the characters. Has anyone else had a show change how you see your own daily life like that?

Sounds like a TV show got you overthinking your job. It's just cooking.

Yeah, the part about "talking about the creative side" really hit me. I watched that show too and it made me see my own daily grind totally differently, like it wasn't just a list of chores anymore.

Actually, it's funny you say that because the show was about cooking, but my job is fixing copy machines. The same idea totally works though. It made me stop seeing a broken scanner as just a problem to fix. Now I see the puzzle of it, like figuring out why a tiny gear is out of place. It turns a boring task into a little game.
