Finally got around to watching The Bear after my brother wouldn't stop talking about it

He's been on me for months, ever since he binged it in a weekend. I finally caved last Tuesday and watched the first episode. By Friday I'd finished both seasons. The stress in that kitchen is so real it gave me flashbacks to my first job at a diner in Cleveland. Anyone else have a show that just completely pulled them in like that?

Wait, they actually showed the locker combination scene? That brought back some seriously bad middle school gym class memories.

The metal lockers were the worst part for me. I get what @nora535 means about flashbacks, but the sound of them slamming shut was pure dread. That whole scene felt too real.
