That cashback card my wife pushed on me finally paid off big time yesterday
I was dead set against getting a travel rewards card for years, thinking the fees would eat any gains, but after booking a flight to Chicago for $12.30 using points I was shocked. Anybody else have a change of heart on a banking product after actually running the numbers?

Stuck with my basic checking account for fifteen years. Finally switched to a high-yield savings account and kicked myself for waiting so long.

Oh man @wade767, I feel that so hard. It's wild how long we can just coast with what we know, even when there's better options out there. What made you finally pull the trigger on the switch?
