Remember when the cardinals showed up right before that big ice storm back in 2021?

For three days straight, I had over a dozen cardinals and a couple of blue jays fighting for space at my feeder, then the storm hit and they vanished. Has anyone else noticed a big flock like that right before rough weather rolls in?

Man, that's wild how they seem to know something we don't.

Honestly, the best thing you can do is just start paying attention to the small stuff yourself. Write down dates, times, and little details about what you see going on. It sounds like a pain but it gives you something concrete to point to if you ever need to prove it. Tbh once you start noticing the pattern yourself, it takes away some of that mystery. They might still know stuff, but at least you'll be in the loop too.

Yeah, start paying attention to the small stuff yourself"... that's basically my whole life philosophy now, just a slow spiral of noticing weird things and then feeling paranoid about it. I've started writing stuff down too, but half the time I can't read my own handwriting from three days ago, so I'm just out here collecting mysteries I created myself. At least if I'm confused by my own notes, I know the patterns are real and not just me losing my mind... maybe.
