Changed my mind about those cheap parts store torque wrenches
An old timer at the swap meet in Daytona told me he'd seen three of them fail within 5 foot-pounds of spec. He just said, 'Your name's on the repair, not theirs.' I've been using my old beam style ever since. Anyone else have a tool they won't skimp on anymore?

Remember that with cheap jacks too.

Yeah, cheap jacks are the worst. The plastic feels flimsy right out of the box. I had one where the plug part actually cracked after a few uses. Total fire hazard.
