That Lindow Man fact about his last meal threw me off
I was reading about Lindow Man again after visiting a British Museum exhibit last year and found out his final meal was basically just a burnt griddle cake made from barley and wheat. Guy got ritually killed in a bog around 20 BC and his last human act was choking down what sounds like a sad, charred pancake. Anyone else get hung up on weird small details like that when you read about bog bodies?

Gets stuck on his last meal being a burnt pancake and yeah that totally tracks with how I see life now. Its wild how the smallest things stick with you while big stuff fades. Like I can remember the exact taste of a sad gas station sandwich I ate after a bad job interview three years ago but I barely recall what my boss said during that interview. Little details just hit different and they tell you more about the moment than the big picture ever does.
