When a fridge repair in my alley went totally sideways
Honestly, I was just walking my route when I heard this loud bang from Mr. Johnson's garage. Tbh, it turned out he was trying to fix his old fridge and somehow the compressor shot out like a rocket. Ngl, it hit his trash cans and knocked them over, which scared the neighbor's dog into a frenzy. The whole thing was so loud that three other neighbors came out thinking it was a car crash. Now we all joke about it, but it taught me to always double-check the pressure before messing with compressors. So yeah, be careful with those old units, folks.

Compressors usually just burst, they don't shoot out like that.

Wow, that sounds genuinely scary to witness. Glad nobody got hurt when that thing went flying. Old appliances can be real wild cards sometimes.
