Read that a single worm bin can eat a pound of scraps a week, which blew my mind
I was looking at the city's composting guide online and saw that stat. My little worm bin in my studio apartment is maybe 18 inches wide, so I figured it could only handle a handful of scraps. Knowing it can process that much makes me way less worried about overfeeding. I've been keeping a small container on my counter all week to test it, and they actually got through most of it. Has anyone else pushed their worm bin close to that limit without issues?

That's awesome your worms are such hungry little garbage disposals! My first bin I was so scared to overfeed I basically starved them for a month. Turns out they can pack it away like a teenager after sports practice. Just wait until you see how fast they go through a melon rind, it's kind of scary.

My first bin was a total starvation chamber too, @jordan134.
