My bokashi bin filled up in 8 days flat this week

I usually get about two weeks out of mine, but I hit capacity this Monday morning. I think it's because I went wild at the farmer's market and bought a huge bag of spinach that went sad in the fridge. I layered in some extra bokashi bran and let it sit for a day before adding more. Has anyone else noticed their bin fills way faster in spring when produce is everywhere?

Used to think bokashi was pretty forgiving on timing but this weekend changed my mind. I loaded up on spring greens from the farm share and my bin was overflowing in 10 days. The spinach went mushy fast and the broccoli stalks took forever to break down. I ended up adding extra bran and just letting it sit a full day before dumping more food in. You had the same experience with the farmer's market haul?

Ngl I've never had issues with bokashi timing even with heavy greens like that.
