PSA: The week we had three separate AOG calls for the same type of landing gear sensor
It started Monday with a Citation in for a B check, then a Gulfstream on Wednesday, and finally a charter King Air Friday. All three had the same fault code for the right main gear proximity sensor, but only one actually had a bad sensor. The other two were wiring harness chafing at the wheel well. Has anyone else seen a weird cluster of identical faults on different birds like that?

Man, that's the universe telling you to check the harness first. Seen it a dozen times. You get a sensor code, swap the sensor, and the fault comes right back. On that King Air, the bundle was rubbing on a hydraulic line bracket. A little chafing sleeve and a zip tie to reroute it fixed it for good. Always trace the wires before you order the part.

Ever have a wire rub through inside a conduit? @christopher_west1, your story reminds me of a Cessna 172 where the flap motor wire was shorting inside the plastic tube. We chased our tails for a week before we pulled a new wire through.
