Hot take: I just logged my 500th squawk write-up and realized how many were just loose connectors
It hit me looking back at the logbook from the past year at our regional hangar. Anyone else find that a solid push-test during pre-troubleshooting saves a ton of time?

That logbook feeling is way too real (and a good push-test is a lifesaver).

Honestly, that push-test advice from @williams.amy can backfire. In my experience, wiggling a connector that wasn't the real issue just creates a new intermittent problem down the line. Better to check the actual service history first, because a lot of those "loose" calls end up being traced back to a recent bad repair or a harness that got stressed during install.
