My new AI assistant completely failed to understand a simple request about my schedule

I asked it to move a meeting from 3 PM to 4 PM last Tuesday. It sent a cancellation for the 3 PM meeting and then created a brand new, separate event for 4 PM with a different title and no attendees. I had to go into my calendar and manually fix the mess, which took about fifteen minutes. Everyone seems to think these tools are flawless, but that's a pretty basic function to get wrong. Has anyone else had a simple scheduling bot fail in a weird way?

My calendar bot did the same thing last month. It kept making duplicate events when I tried to reschedule a weekly check-in. I found that being super specific works better. I started saying "please change the existing 'Team Sync' event from 3 to 4 PM" instead of just asking to move it. That seemed to help it understand it's one event, not two separate tasks.

Wait you had to tell it "please" to make it work right? That's WILD.
