My AI art generator gave me 27 nearly identical cat pictures in one sitting

I spent a whole afternoon last Tuesday trying to get an AI art tool to make a picture of a black cat sitting on a garden fence. Every single one came out with the cat facing left, same ears, same tail curl. I tweaked the prompt like 15 times adding words like "looking right" or "orange eyes" and still got basically the same output. Then out of frustration I typed "cat but make it weird" and it gave me a furball with three eyes and a fifth leg. That one actually looked cool but not what I needed for my blog post. Has anyone else found a way to make these generators actually follow specific pose or angle instructions?

The same thing happened to me with a horse generator I tried last month. I asked for a chestnut horse galloping to the right and got 18 different images of a bay horse standing still facing left. I finally got one to work by adding "chestnut color red brown" and "running action legs extended" but it still looked stiff. Did you try hitting the negative prompt with words the model might be overusing?

Actually that's not quite how negative prompts work for most horse models. They're more for removing unwanted elements like blurry legs or extra riders, not for steering color or direction. I saw someone on a forum stack like 15 negative terms once and the output actually got worse, the model started fighting itself. Did you try just describing the horse's body position, like "forelegs tucked" or "hind legs pushing off the ground"?
