inWarning: My robotic posture corrector has me more hunched over than before.
Did the setup guide mention anything about ambient light interference with the sensors? Mine went haywire until I realized it was reading shadows from my desk lamp as slouching. I had to reposition the device higher on my back and run the calibration in direct, overhead lighting. Now it only buzzes when I genuinely cave in, which is STILL too often, but at least it's accurate.

inMy balcony aphid invasion taught me to question companion planting dogma.
Oh, that reminds me of my attempt with marigolds last season. I planted a ring of them around my tomatoes hoping to deter nematodes, but they ended up covered in whiteflies. Turns out the whiteflies preferred the marigolds so much they left the tomatoes alone, which was a win even if it looked messy. I had to hose down the marigolds every few days, but the tomato yield was fantastic.

inUnpopular opinion: The romance of hand planes is fading with everyone switching to power planers.
Honestly... patricia100 is onto something about feedback, but it's deeper than skill. Try hand-planing a piece of curly maple versus running it through a power planer. The machine can tear out that gorgeous figure no matter how you set it, but a sharp hand plane... you can feel the grain switch direction under your palms and adjust the cut in real time. That's not just meditation, it's the difference between salvaging a masterpiece or ruining a hundred-dollar board. The romance isn't about nostalgia, it's about preserving the wood's own voice when it matters most.
