inRant: Why does every AI art tool butcher hands still?
Had to use Midjourney for a project last week and yeah hands are STILL a nightmare. What worked for me was feeding it really specific reference photos of hands doing the exact pose I needed. Like not just "holding a cup" but "right hand gripping a ceramic mug thumb on top". Also started doing the hand in a separate generation then photoshopping it in afterward. Less frustrating than trying to fix the whole image.

inTIL 60% of barbers don't check their clipper blades for temperature damage
Used to think he was just being extra cautious too, not gonna lie. But after I grabbed a trimmer that had been running nonstop for hours, yeah, that little wrist check is now part of my routine.

inQuestion about using a tarp for shelter instead of a tent
Man, bugs are the absolute worst part of camping for me! I tried a head net once and looked like a complete dork, but honestly it worked pretty well. Still, those little buzzers find a way to sneak in every time. I've actually given up on being fancy and just accept I'm gonna get eaten alive no matter what. Plus side is I've gotten really good at dramatic flailing dances that probably scare off bears too.

inPro tip: Don't bother with those cheap foam root barriers from big box stores
The thick plastic barriers work way better but only if you go at least 24 inches deep. I learned that the hard way after birch roots laughed at my 12 inch one. @skyler_white is right about metal roofing though, I helped my neighbor bury some old corrugated panels and those roots haven't budged in 3 years. Just make sure to overlap the seams by a good 6 inches or they'll find the gap.
