Tuesday in March was my best school day in 11 years of teaching

Every single kid in my 6th period turned in their homework on time, which has literally never happened before or since. Then at lunch, the vending machine at Westside Middle gave me two bags of chips for the price of one because it jammed. By 3 PM I had graded 42 papers without losing my train of thought once, which felt like some kind of record. Has anyone else had a day where the universe just decided to cooperate for no reason at all?
