DAE find that spicy challenge instructions are always vague?
I mean, I just guessed my way through the Carolina reaper wings and actually finished, so I'm pretty happy.

Totally get that. Tried a ghost pepper sauce challenge once where the rules just said "eat the wings." No clue if timing mattered or how much sauce counted. Just powered through with a lot of milk. Felt awesome after, stomach hated me later.

Ghost pepper wings messed me up too. Milk only fixes the mouth burn, not the gut fire. I eat a bunch of bread after to calm things down. Helps a bit, but that next morning is always rough.

Milk is the go-to for heat, but it often just postpones the pain. How long did your stomach ache last?

Last summer I tried a habanero hot sauce that wrecked me for hours. Milk only cools your mouth, but for stomach pain, I found eating a slice of bread or some yogurt really helps. My worst ache lasted almost a full day because I did not handle it right after. Now I always keep antacids handy if I know I am going spicy. It is about dealing with the burn inside, not just in your mouth.
